Council Meeting Minutes

October 22, 2024

Call to Order:  Mayor Rauser called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.  In attendance along with Mayor Rauser are Angie Wintrow, JB Howick, Vivian Boaz, and Heather Healea.  Nate Brown and Doug Sitton reported they’d be absent.  Also in attendance are Jenny Clowes, Anna Gluekert, Jenni Fellenz, Eric Crusch, and Kari Williams. 

Pledge of Allegiance:  The Pledge of Allegiance was recited by all. 

Special Meeting for Townsend Chamber of Commerce:  Jenny Clowes apologized for not being able to attend the meeting last week and thanked the council for attending the special meeting tonight. 

She requested Street Closure for October 31, 2024, from 4:30 to 6:30 for the Ghost Stroll.  The application was complete. 

Angie made a motion to approve the request for the street closure for the Ghost Stroll and Christmas Stroll.  Angie seconded the motion.  All in favor, motion carried. 

Adjourn:  Heather made a motion to adjourn the meeting.  Angie seconded the motion.  All in favor, motion carried.
